Activities for the day:

  • Warm welcome by a Venture Lanka Tours representative at the airport.
  • Private transfer to your beachfront hotel in Negombo.
  • Check-in and enjoy your leisure time by the pool or sandy shores.
  • Overnight stay at Suriya Resort, Negombo (or a similar property).

Note: This is the perfect first day to recover from your travels together, Enjoy a romantic sunset walk along the beach to start your honeymoon.

Today’s journey takes you to Sri Lanka’s cultural heart—Kandy. Along the way, encounter gentle giants at the elephant orphanage, feel the spiritual calm of the Temple of the Tooth, and conclude your day with a colorful traditional dance performance.

  • Transfer to Kandy,
  • visiting the elephant orphanage in Rambukkana en route.
  • Stop at a traditional Spice Garden to discover local herbs and spices.

  • from leaf to cup. Savour a fresh cup of pure Ceylon tea.
  • Overnight stay at The Blackpool Hotel, Nuwara Eliya (or similar).

Note: The climate in Nuwara Eliya is much cooler; it's a good idea to have a light jacket or sweater, The tea terraces offer spectacular backdrops for romantic photos.

Experience one of the world’s most scenic and renowned train rides as you journey through misty mountains, lush valleys, and cascading waterfalls on your way to the picturesque hill town of Ella.
